My first wedding season was so exciting! I worked with some really wonderful couples who celebrated their love in such beautiful ways. It taught me a lot about weddings, about myself, about how people express their love, about how people connect and about what makes people happy. I can't describe how lucky I think I am to be able to share in such cherished moments with the couples who select me as their wedding photographer. 

When Medora contacted me about shooting her wedding to Troy I was beyond excited. See this wasn't just any wedding - this was their opportunity to give themselves the wedding they had dreamed of after 10 happy years of marriage. To celebrate 10 years of marriage is such a milestone and something anyone who has the opportunity to experience is blessed to have. I know I can't wait to celebrate my own 10 year wedding anniversary, and after being married for almost a year it seems like such a long time away. 

Medora and Troy planned their wedding to take place in their backyard, in a very intimate setting with close family and friends. Medora is quite the creative soul, and she took to planning and putting together every element of her special day. It came together beautifully and I hope it was all she had imagined it would be. 

From the details she put together in their decorations to her stunning wedding gown to her daughters handmade dresses, everything was perfect for Medora and Troy. I am honored to have been a part of their wedding.
